PANLAR Masters of Rheumatology
The "PANLAR Master of Rheumatology" award relies on members whose scientific contribution and/or recognized academic work has significatively contributed to the development of rheumatology in their country.
Each Master is chosen by his local society, and is paid homage during the closing ceremony of the PANLAR Congress.

The PANLAR Executive Committee and Dr. Graciela Alarcón, Chairwoman of the PANLAR-Abbott Award in Rheumatology Selection Committee, make an urgent call to the Latin American rheumatologists to apply for the award, which grants USD 7,500 to the winner of each category (clinical, basic sciences) for the development of a proposed study.
