Regulations for Academic Endorsement Requests

 

Academic Endorsement is the recognition of the academic, scientific and/or technological quality of an event. PANLAR may grant academic endorsement to events and activities with academic, scientific, technological or dissemination impact (conferences, congresses, symposiums or other events of academic relevance) that are directly related to PANLARs areas of interest. This academic endorsement does not imply any responsibility on the part of the institution in the organization, execution, opinions expressed during the event or as a consequence of the endorsed event. The validity of this recognition will expire once the event has concluded.

 

 

Endorsement Application Requirements:

Applicants shall submit their request for academic endorsement at least 2 months prior to the start of the event or course. They should send the following requirements by e-mail to secretaria@panlar.org:

• Complete the Endorsement Form
• Program or agenda of the event and/or course
• CV or résumé of the lecturers.

Requests for academic endorsement will be received by the Secretariat and will be submitted for evaluation by the Education and Science Committee and subsequent approval by the Executive Committee.

Deadlines for endorsement:

Those interested in requesting academic and/or scientific endorsement from the institution shall do so at least two (2) months prior to the beginning of the event date. Once the request for endorsement is received, along with the documentation, it will be evaluated and within a maximum period of forty (40) days, a final resolution, favorable or unfavorable to the granting of the endorsement, will be issued.

Costs by category:

• Courses and/or Events organized by National Societies affiliated to PANLAR: No charge.
• Courses and/or Events organized by the Pharmaceutical Industry: $3000.
• Courses and/or Events organized by Private entities/other: $500.

*The established amounts are subject to annual review by PANLAR and may be adjusted accordingly. The institution is required to complete payment no later than sixty (60) days after the end of the event.

The granting of Academic Endorsement or Statement of Institutional Interest does not imply any obligation on the part of the faculty to provide financial support or other resources to the event or activity.
