We are a study group composed of rheumatologists with a particular interest and experience in ultrasound focused on Rheumatology, coming from different countries in Latin America, Canada, and the United States.

The group is dedicated to promoting and creating spaces for research and learning on the use of ultrasound in various musculoskeletal and rheumatic diseases. We work in collaboration with clinical rheumatologists and imaging specialists to ensure that ultrasound is recognized as a useful and effective tool both in daily practice and in research on different rheumatologic diseases.
 

Group Objectives

 

• Disseminate and teach about ultrasound applied to rheumatic diseases, while strengthening knowledge of general musculoskeletal ultrasound.
• Promote the use of ultrasound as a tool for research and clinical management of patients.
• Improve the care of rheumatic patients through the use of ultrasound as a non-invasive imaging method.
• Integrate and share ultrasound knowledge with physicians from other specialties, including radiologists, physiatrists, orthopedic surgeons, and sports medicine doctors, among others.
