Vasculitis


 

We are a group of rheumatologists who share an interest in the study of Systemic Vasculitis.

 

Objectives
 

  • Stimulate research projects on systemic vasculitis in Latin America.
  • Promote epidemiological studies to assess the incidence and prevalence of different forms of systemic vasculitis in Latin American countries.
  • Evaluate possible differences in disease phenotypes (clinical manifestations and laboratory markers) among different countries in the region.
  • Identify predictors of damage and mortality in systemic vasculitis patients in Latin America.
  • Compare treatment recommendations for the management of systemic vasculitis in different Latin American countries.
  • Encourage the dissemination of knowledge about systemic vasculitis among rheumatologists and clinicians in Latin America.
